Collaborate at work with Google Apps Team Edition.

Google has released a team version of their application suite. It allows groups of co-workers (think about pupils working together on a project) to do the following;

• Work on the same document together, instead of sorting out changes in attachments
• Share documents and calendars securely with your co-workers with a click
• Access it all from any computer, and even from mobile phones
• Invite other team members to join and share with you

It is very easy to set up and could be another very useful tool for linking pupil’s work betweeen home and school.

Presentations on the Web

Have you ever wanted pupils to be able to collaborate on a PowerPoint type presentation, in different locations, at the same time! Then take a look at Preezo.

Once logged in pupils could work on the same presentation from any internet connected computer. They could do this as a homework activity and even carry on with work started in the classroom.
